Each 23km & 50km trail running participant must carry below mandatory gears at all times during the race. For the sake of safety to all the participants, random gear checks will be performed during the race. Any participant without the mandatory gears will not be able to proceed until they arrange for the missing item to be replaced.
• 52km trail running participants: headlamps or torches (mobile phone lamps are not accepted as substitutes)
• Mobile phone in working order with charged battery (*The phone number must be the same as the one you provided for the registration. If not, please update the organizer by email)
• You are required to download the race route GPX file into the sport watch and/or mobile phone which you will carry on the race day, and the mentioned device can show the electronic route map when you arrive the start point and during the race. *Attention: The race course of 50km (formerly known as “52km”) was updated on 22 Oct 2024, if you had downloaded the GPX file earlier than this date, please go to “Route Info” for the information of the latest race course and to download the latest GPX file.
• Bib (*PROVIDED BY THE ORGANISER IN YOUR RUNNER PACK and must be visible at the front during the race.)
• 350ml of water
• Utensils (including cup or bottle for water replenishment. There will be no cups provided at the checkpoints/water point)
• Respect & be polite to crew, volunteers and other participants
